No. We read your store from the outside, the way a shopper’s browser does.
Is this a penetration test?
No, we only read public pages. We don’t log in, try passwords or attack anything.
Does it work with Hyvä and Adobe Commerce?
Yes. We read the same public pages, whatever the theme or edition.
What happens when you find something?
An email the same day, in plain words, with what to do.
What does it cost?
€49 a month per store. Agencies with 10 or more stores pay €29 a store. Founding stores pay half for the first 12 months.
How is this different from Adobe’s Security Scan Tool?
Adobe’s free tool is worth running. Patched adds a daily watch on every script on your checkout, against a known-good list, and tells you what changed in plain words.
Can you stop a card skimmer?
No. We don’t change anything on your store. We tell you the day a checkout script appears or changes, so you or your developer can act on it.
Does this make us PCI compliant?
No. Compliance is between you and your auditor. The monthly PDF is a dated record of what we checked and what changed, which helps when they ask how you keep an eye on your checkout scripts.
Do we pay anything before it works?
No. Founding stores pay nothing until the daily checks are live for them, and can cancel any time.
